We strongly recommend that you book your accommodations early! October is peak tourism and wedding season in the Shenandoah Valley, and area hotels routinely sell out weeks in advance.
We recommend that you arrive on Friday, October 16 and depart on Sunday, October 18. R-MA has arranged discounts for these dates at the following area hotels:
- Holiday Inn Winchester SE – Historic Gateway – As of September 3, king and double-queen rooms are available for $109/night (excluding taxes and fees). To receive the discounted rate, please book into the room block online using this LINK, or call (540) 667-3300, ask for in-house reservations, and let the staff know that you’re with the R-MA Homecoming & Reunions group. Please note that you must book your stay by September 16, 2026 to receive the discounted rate.
- Hilton Doubletree Front Royal Blue Ridge Shadows – As of September 3, the room block we’d arranged with the Doubletree is full. This is an extremely busy weekend for the hotel and they are not able to add additional rooms to the block at this time; however, they may have availability outside of the contracted block.
- Towneplace Suites Front Royal – As of September 3, the Towneplace Suites is at capacity for Homecoming Weekend.
