Volleyball Win Against MVCA

Well the playoffs are here and the Lady Jackets came out ready to play against a strong team from Mountain View Christian Academy. We took the first set with a score of 25-16. Our girls were strong defensively and our serving earned us the majority of our points. Lily Grossman lead her team with serving points. She earned 6 points with three of them being aces. Olachi Agba added 4 points, Nafisah Muhtar added 2 points with one being an ace, and Princess Uzoma and Jotrina Vamboi both added one point.

In set two it was neck and neck there for awhile until the Lady Jackets took the lead due to Princess's strong serving. Princess served 7 points with two of them being aces. Olachi added three points, Lily served two aces, and Nafisah added a point. It was game point and Citlaly Sosa stepped up to serve, with her family looking on, and served a well placed ball to earn her an ace and to win the game 25-19.

This win in the first round of playoffs has earned us another match against Wakefield Country Day School on Thursday for round two. Good luck ladies, keep up the good work and have fun!
