The Jackets dominated much of their away game against FCS through solid defense and quick counter-attack, taking a 1-0 lead into the half from an assist by Joseph Agbo-Afotey that was tucked away by Somto Ogah. FCS rallied after having a player red carded and yellow carded on the same bad challenge and equalized with 15 minutes to go. Alpha Diallo broke through with 5 minutes left and looked to have scored a deserved winner for R-MA only for the keeper to make an incredible low save. FCS managed one final shot that hit the crossbar, but landed on the line and play continued. Despite being next to the incident, the referee was called over by the linesman and the goal was given. It was a tough call after such a dominant display, but the JAckets came off the field excited by their performance and progression.
