On Wednesday, August 13, 2014, the student leaders of the Air Force JROTC program at Randolph-Macon Academy registered for the Summer Leadership Lab, where they would spend more than a week learning about team-building, leadership styles, and the positions they would hold within the Air Force JROTC program. On Sunday, August 17th, the students received their positions for the year, as well as their cadet rank.
Front Royal native Gordon Anderson '15 was named the Cadet Corps Commander with the rank of cadet lieutenant colonel, while Mazrukh Khan '15 of Dulles received the honor of being named Cadet Vice Corps Commander with the rank of cadet major. The highest ranking junior position of Command Chief went to Emma Bunker of Berryville, who received the rank of cadet senior master sergeant.
