MS Soccer VS Rappahannock

The R-MA Jackets continued their strong start to the season with a solid 3-0 victory over a resolute Rappahannock team to maintain a 100% win record for the season. The Jackets dominated possession throughout the match as the Rappahannock defense fought strongly to contain attack after attack. Manny Uzoma finally broke the deadlock in the first half after going close with a number of chances and being thwarted by some great goal keeping. JJ Banek-Gabelle was a menace throughout the first half with some direct runs into the penalty area and he was finally rewarded when he won a penalty for a handball inside the area. He stepped up to the penalty spot and cleanly dispatched the penalty to give the Jackets a 2-0 lead going into half-time. In the second half the Jackets continued to dominate as players were rotated into the line-up and substitute Will Graham was rewarded with an opportune strike that beat the keeper courtesy of the post to round off a well-earned victory.
