MS Soccer Beats Rappahannock 5-0

The Jackets continued their fine run of form with their third consecutive shut-out in a commanding 5-0 victory over Rappahannock County. Manny Uzoma opened the scoring in the first half with an opportunistic goal from inside the goal box. Kota Ikemoto was a danger every time he burst forward from midfield as he added a second and Griffin Loper, who shut down any breaks Rappahannock tried to muster as well as driving the team forward, led the scoring with 2 goals to round out the first half 4-0. After the break, Sidique Thomas came out of goal to take up the striker position and added a fifth goal to cap off a solid performance. Ishmael Bobbitt was once again outstanding in defense where it seemed that nothing got past him all game long. The last three games have led to a scoring feast of a combined total of 31 goals scored and none conceded.
