MS Boys’ Basketball Defeats Front Royal Christian Academy

On Friday, January 17, the R-MA Yellow Jackets defeated the Front Royal Christian Academy Eagles 47-32. The young Jackets led in ever quarter and had one of their better games, shooting 33% from the floor in their victory over the Eagles. Leading the way for R-MA was Samuel Uzoma with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Cailen Baggett had 12 points and 4 rebounds. Stanley Richards had a good game at point guard by leading the team's offense and scoring 6 points. Javon Farmer, John Backo, and Gabe Dubin each added 4 points. Rounding out the scoring was Ryan Latham who had 3 points. With this win the Jackets are 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the VMSC. On Tuesday, weather permitting, the Jackets will host Wakefield Country Day with a 4:15 start and the girls to follow.
