Military Band to Tour Central Florida

Front Royal, VA—  The Randolph-Macon Academy military band will tour down the East Coast to Florida where they will perform, compete, and march in events while enjoying the excitement of Busch Gardens, Universal Studios and more. The band of thirty-eight students along with ten chaperones will depart by bus from campus on Wednesday, January 23, and will return Tuesday January 29.

Besides enjoying the performances and rides of Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, and Old Town Kissimmee, the cadets will have an incredible opportunity to experience firsthand several of the exciting laboratories at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University: the High-Altitude Normobaric Laboratory, the Unmanned Arial Systems Laboratory, the Simulation Labs (Advanced Flight Simulation Center (SIM Center or AFSC Center)), the Air Traffic Control Labs, and airplanes.

This annual trip that Randolph-Macon Academy hosts for its cadets will be incredible, offering yet another opportunity for the students to exhibit their talent, cultivate their curiosity in hands-on learning developmental experiences, and enjoy the adventures the East Coast has to offer.
