Lacrosse Victorious in Season Opener

The lacrosse team rolled past Fredericksburg Christian School (FCS) in their first game of the season on Friday, March 17th.

Despite missing 9 players to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the team was able to hold FCS to just one goal. The entire defensive side was led by Yellow Jackets that were playing in their first ever lacrosse game (Arinze Adigwe '19, Christopher Pierce '20, Nathan Whaley '21). In goal, Christian Pierce '20 stood tall and confident while shutting down the Eagle offense.  Liam Kelly '18 set the pace for the offense with 4 goals and 3 assists. The final score was 9-1.

Next up, the team travels to defending DAC champs, Trinity Christian, on Tuesday, March 21st, and then play host to Skyline High School on Thursday, March 23rd.
