The Randolph-Macon Academy JV Boys Basketball team took on Seton School in a high scoring match up on Tuesday, February 11 for the JV Boys D.A.C. regular season. The Yellow Jackets came up just short with the final score being 68 to 72. The Jackets hit 6 3-point field goals in the game. Five of them came from forward Kojo Mante. Mante finished the game with 22 points. Sam Beavers added his season high of 14. Austin Davis also reached double figures with his season high of 11. Even though the Yellow Jackets came up short, they went all in putting up their season high for points and rebounds. James Fu and Hao Ru both had double digit rebounding totals. The JV Yellow Jackets are currently 7-4, and they hope to increase their win total against Fredericksburg Christian School on Thursday, February 12 at 4:30 p.m. and claim a D.A.C. Championship in the D.A.C. JV Basketball Tournament this Saturday, February 14 hosted by R-MA. The Yellow Jackets are still in the running for a #2 seed in the tournament.
