Homecoming Court Announced
Front Royal, VA—Randolph-Macon Academy’s school year is fast-approaching its main fall social event: Homecoming, which takes place on October 9 and 10, 2015. As the Yellow Jackets gear up to play Southern Garrett High School, the Academy will also take time to mark a significant historical chapter this year.
A commemorative Flag Ceremony and Memorial Service will take place at 10:00 a.m., with Homecoming Parade festivities shortly thereafter. The Academy will be honoring Riddick Field’s 50th Anniversary at 1:00 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.
The Homecoming Court this year will include freshmen Kota Ikemoto of Tokyo, and Arabella Westbrook of The Plains, Virginia; sophomores Luel McKonnen of Silver Spring, Maryland, and Rukky Garuba of Lagos; juniors Soso Eke-Spiff of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Yifei "Helen" Peng of Beijing; and seniors Gabe Williams of Front Royal, Virginia, Peter Blair of Upperco, Maryland, Ashley Grossman of Gainesville, Virginia, and Siqin Xie of Changsha, Hunan.

Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational day and boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in R-MA’s 91st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) and have the option to participate in a flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
