Five Students Named to District Chorus

On Tuesday, November 5, 2013, seven students from Randolph-Macon Academy attended the District XIV Chorus auditions at Sherando High School, with five of them earning coveted spots in the chorus: Margot Cramer ’14, Alice Gong ’16, Ming Gong ’14, Regina Song ’14, and Louisa Stanwich ’14.

“Last year we had three students make the group, so we are on the up and up,” observed R-MA Chorus Director Michael DeMato. “I know these five will represent R-MA well!”

The District XIV Chorus performance will be on February 15, 2014.

Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational day and boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12.  Students in grades 9-12 participate in R-MA’s 91st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) and have the option to participate in a unique flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
