Notice: The District Chorus concert scheduled for today (February 13th) has been cancelled due to the unexpected winter weather Winchester received last night.
This Friday and Saturday, Randolph-Macon Academy Chorus Director Michael DeMato will take six students to rehearse and perform a concert for this year's District Chorus. The students who will be attending are senior Jingwen “Alice” Gong, junior Yifei “Helen” Peng, freshman Wan Sun, and sophomore Gillian Rydholm.
In addition, DeMato noted that eighth graders Anna Toy and Citlaly Sosa from Randolph-Macon Academy Middle School will participate in the middle school portion of the concert. This is the first time R-MA Middle School will send students to the event.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Saturday, February 13th at Millbrook High School in Winchester, VA. The middle school concert is at 1:00 pm, and the high school concert is at 2:00 pm. (Event has been cancelled.)
The Randolph-Macon Academy family wishes Helen Peng and Alice Gong good luck on Friday the 12th, as they will be auditioning for All-Virginia Chorus.
