The High Flight-Military Career Pathway prepares junior or senior students for service academy appointments, ROTC, or senior military colleges. Participating cadets must maintain a 3.5 GPA, show discipline, start standardized testing in junior year, qualify for Cadre positions, engage in varsity athletics, and participate in summer programs or Military Operations Courses.
High Flight Students gain the following opportunities:
- Mentorship from retired military officers
- Academic advising for military program applications
- Physical conditioning
- Leadership conferences and academy days
Prerequisites:
- Rising junior or senior with military career interest
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- No disqualifying medical conditions
- Strong character and leadership skills
Course Requirements:
- Math – Pre-Calculus/AP Calculus
- Science – Physics/AP Chemistry/AP Physics
- English – AP English Language/AP English Literature
- Minimum 3 years of a world language
- Computer Science
- Character and Leadership Development Program
