Kisyl is a day student at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA.

Came to R-MA:  In the 2017-2018 school year, in the 9th grade.

Hometown: Front Royal, VA.

Sports played: Varsity Soccer, named Most Improved Player in spring 2018

Other activities:  I belong to the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Alpha Readers, and Philosophy club. As far as community service I belong to the Interact Club, Academy's Own, my church Youth Group, and I volunteered at Warren Memorial Hospital for the summer of 2019.
 
Honors/Awards received: President's List in all Quarters, Most Outstanding Student in Geometry, Most Outstanding Student in Biology, Most Outstanding Student in Spanish I, Most Outstanding Student Spanish II, Most Outstanding Student in AP History, Premio de Plata (Silver Award) winner in the 2018 National Spanish Exam, Premio de Plata (Silver Award) winner in the 2019 National Spanish Exam.

Cadre Position: Public Affairs NCOIC.

Why did you choose to come to R-MA? I chose R-MA because I knew that it would give me the challenge, knowledge, and tools to help me get into any college I would like.

What is the biggest benefit you are getting from R-MA? The biggest benefit I am getting from R-MA is an excellent education that is preparing me to succeed in any college I choose.

Favorite R-MA uniform: My favorite uniform is the blazer uniform, because it is elegant and makes me look very chic.

Favorite R-MA class: It’s between Honors English, AP U.S. History, or Pre-Calc because they all are very interesting to learn and the teachers are great!
 
Favorite book: Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.
 
Favorite movie: I love all Disney movies, but my favorite is "Frozen."
