Rodney Smith has chosen to make a difference in a simple yet unique way, as he travels throughout the country providing free lawn care to those in need, including those who are disabled, single parents, elderly, or veterans. His organization, Raising Men Lawn Care Service (R.M.L.C.S.), seeks to inspire youth to understand their own value in society and that they can make a difference in the world around them, as they take on his 50 Yard Challenge.
Mr. Smith has been featured on various media around the country, including Buzz Feed, NBC News, Foxs News, DIY Network, Today, Huffington Post, USA Today, Conservative Tribune, AL.com, and others. On Tuesday, January 21st, the Front Royal community is invited to be inspired along with the Randolph-Macon Academy family, as Mr. Smith shares his story. This free event will take place at 2:30 pm in Boggs Chapel on the R-MA campus.
