R-MA’s aviation programs combine modern equipment with quality instruction
The Drone Applications class assisted local organizations such as the Economic Development Authority and the Smithsonian Biology Conservation Institute.
The unique drone programs at our prep school help students view their futures with a new perspective on all of the opportunities awaiting them.

We are thrilled to offer one of our most popular summer programs, now more robust than ever. Aviation Summer Camp is offered in both Sessions I & II where each session is two-weeks in length. This comprehensive program includes the following courses open to students rising to grades 9-12:  

Flight Training
Students explore Aviation by training in R-MA aircraft and simulators as well as learn from guest speakers and taking weekly field trips. Students receive first-class instruction in the air and on the ground while  discovering unlimited opportunities in aviation careers.

Drone Applications
The Summer Aviation Camp also includes instruction for unmanned aviation, or drones. Students participate in hands-on flight training for aerial photography, advanced data collection for mapping and 3D modeling. Students may also complete the FAA remote pilot certification.  

There is a 12-student maximum for each Session.
