When students return from the holiday break between the 1st and 2nd semester, they will take part in our J-term during the first three weeks of January. The goal is to improve the educational experience for our students by giving them opportunities to engage in experiential learning that goes beyond our core curriculum, as well as develop career and life skills. On campus course offerings will take place Monday through Thursday with local excursions on Fridays to provide field experiences that offer extensions to classroom learning. A few of the possibilities for courses include Foundations to Finance, Flight Exploration, Outdoor Adventure and Survival Skills, and Keys to Healthy Lifestyle. Students will sign up for 2 or 3 courses in the early fall at a course fair.
