R-MA Senior Attends Model UN Korea

When Katy Babineau ‘20 decides to do something, she goes all in. So when she decided that Model UN sounded like something she would enjoy, she didn’t worry about finding a team to join; she jumped in as an individual attendee. The fact that this particular Model UN took place at Seoul National University in Korea didn’t deter her; if anything, it simply made it an even more enticing challenge.

The inaugural January Term (J-Term) held at Randolph-Macon Academy was even more successful than anticipated, according to both teachers and students. Campus energy was high across all grade levels, and as Director of Student Life Todd Davis noted, the typical winter blues were nowhere in sight.

On Friday, January 24th the R-MA swim team travelled to Fredericksburg Academy for a meet against Fredericksburg Academy, Wakefield, and Highland. Please congratulate our swimmers on their first place overall win!!!  

Currently, the swim team's overall record is 8-2 and we travel to Manassas on Saturday, February 1st for the VISAA Invitational.
