The middle school girls’ basketball team played the Conquerors from Mountain View Christian Academy yesterday and came out victorious, 22-16.  

The Lady Yellow Jackets jumped out to a big lead by taking open shots and quick passes to create those shots. This led to a 12-7 lead at the end of the first. By halftime the score was 16-10.

The middle school boys' basketball team put on a dazzling display last night against the Rappahannock Panthers vying for the top spot in the VMSC. Both teams have put up high point totals and have been undefeated against the other VMSC teams.

The 2016 Randolph-Macon Academy football team experienced a great amount of success this past fall and have much to be proud of. The Yellow Jackets finished with a record of 6-3 and brought home the Patriot Conference football championship. They had 12 players receive 1st team all-conference awards along with the Offensive Conference Player of the Year in Alex Ndongo-Seh ’17.

Last night, the Yellow Jackets hosted Quantico in a non-conference game of basketball. With a two game win streak, the Jackets looked to sting early to extend the streak to three. 

From the get go, the Jackets looked to capitalize on the mistakes of their opponent. Utilizing the 1-3-1 zone, the squad was able to get easy baskets in transition. If the ball bounced the wrong way, the two giants down low cleaned up.
