MS Boys’ Basketball Ends 2013 With Win

On Wednesday, December 18, the R-MA Middle School Boys' Basketball defeated Sacred Heart from Winchester, Virginia, by the score of 26-18. The Jackets started the game well and scored 11 points during the first quarter. At halftime the score was 15-12 after a slow second quarter. The Jackets came out of the locker room and scored 10 points during the third quarter to take a 25-16 lead. The fourth quarter saw little scoring but a good delay game was demonstrated by the Jackets. Thanks for the support during the early part of the season by parents, guardians, family, and friends of the school. We hope to begin the 2014 portion of the season on January 9, at home against Winchester Academy starting at 5:00. On January 10, the Yellow Jackets have rescheduled a game against Mountain View that was postponed earlier during the year.
