Middle School Swimming

On Friday our swim team headed to Fredericksburg for our second meet of the season.  We had outstanding performances from our boys.  First up, Joh Mark Secrist had a great outing with swimming the 200 meter medley relay with three US swimmers for a time of 2:38.77.  He also swam the 200 with a time of 2:41.69 and the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:20.35.  To finish off the meet John Mark joined three Upper Schoolers in the 400 meter free relay for a strong finish of 5:09.86.

Tire Bayo-Adeyemo stood out again this week competing in the 200 medley relay with three Upper Schools for a time of 3:13.33, the 50 free with a time of 38.42, 100 free with a time of 1:36.50 and join fellowmiddle schooler Brendan Kim in the 200 meter free relay to finish with a time of 2:38.99.

Josiah Herring put down an awesome performance swimming in the 200 meter freestyle with a time of 3:17.52 and the 400 meter free with an impressive time of 7:07.41.

Michael Patterson swam the 50 free with a time of 49.80, the 100 meter free with a 2:10.92, and Michael put in work in the 200 meter relay with the three Upper School swimmers for a time of 2:52.50.

Brendan Kim swam in the 50 free with a time of 49.03, the 100 meter freestyle with a time of 1:55.82, and joined fellow Middle Schooler Tire to swim the 200 meter free relay with a time of 2:38.99.

As coaches we are very proud of these boys and look forward to seeing what the season brings with their dedication and hard work.  Have a great Christmas vacation and be sure to get in the water over break.
