On Wednesday, 22 February, the Randolph-Macon Academy Middle School ladies celebrated their annual Middle School Interact "Penny Wars" victory over their male classmates with a pizza party. Funds raised from the event allowed the club to cut a check for $500.00 to "Rise Against Hunger."
The R-MA Middle School Interactors didn’t stop there. They rose early on Saturday, March 4th, to join fellow Interactors and Rotarians from Rotary District 7570 (Area One) at Sherando High School. Together, the group packaged over 28,000 meals in just a couple of hours. These meals were scheduled to be sent to Haiti to provide assistance with the ongoing need there.
