Alpha Readers Host First Meeting

The Alpha Readers Book Club hosted their first meeting of the 2015-16 school year marking the tenth year for the reading group. The English department sponsored club meets once a month throughout the academic year to discuss a common read and enjoy dinner. The first book that they read was Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett. Several students took part in this month's discussion and dinner. Parent and teacher involvement helped make the night memorable with several lovely door prized. Ms. Melberg and Ms. Schoonover were on hand to help make the night a success. The group is lead by English department chair Mr. Robert Davies.
